The School of Valley Dance Theatre
Year-round studio classes for boys and girls ages 2.5β12, plus an Upper Division and Adult program β taught by experienced instructors who train dancers toward Company and beyond.

Movement, rhythm and motor-skill basics in a playful, developmentally appropriate class. No experience needed.
Ballet terminology, alignment, rhythm and musicality. Advancement to Ballet I is by instructor recommendation.
For beginners, or Pre-Ballet graduates. Introduces more difficult movement and proper class etiquette.
Quality of movement, discipline and body alignment develop, preparing dancers for pointe. Placement class required to advance.
Mon / Wed / Sat. Instructors notify students when they're ready to begin pointe work.
Minimum 3 classes/week: one pointe class, two technique classes.
Significant time commitment; dancers may be invited to beginning Partnering class.
Advanced technique, partnering and performance-ready training for VDT's mainstage productions.
Back by popular demand β beginners welcome, no experience required. A great fitness-meets-artistry option.
